Wireless sensor network is one of the most important technologies in the 21st century. The use of sensor networks for positioning and tracking has great significance and a wide range of application. It is widely used in military reconnaissance, environmental monitoring, health, and industrial business fields. Localization technology is one of the key support technologies of wireless sensor network, which has great influence in the deployment of coverage, topology control, routing communication and target tracking. Also it has permeated all aspects of wireless sensor network technology research.Based on the background of mine safety monitoring system, this paper analyzes the RSSI node self-localization algorithm in detail, which has the problems of multi-path effect, environmental factor, estimating deviation, anchor nodes uneven deployed and reconstruction relational database, all of this result in low positioning accuracy and high cost of calculation.
